About Us

Our Mission

At Team Stoke, our mission is to inspire athletes through personalized training that builds skill, resilience, and a deep love for skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and disc golf.

We’re proud to lead the way with a fresh, innovative approach. Constantly exploring better ways to train, grow, and move as a team.

We’re committed to fostering an environment of kindness, respect, integrity, and inclusivity. Always encouraging athletes to support one another, respect nature, and engage positively with the community.

We take pride in creating a space where every individual feels valued and safe. Team Stoke is where athletes grow together, feel supported, and push their limits because we do it all STOKED!

Our Core Values

Kindness

We lead with empathy and compassion. Our athletes, families, and coaches create a community where everyone feels safe, supported, and seen.

Respect

We respect every person, every effort, and every journey. That includes our athletes, our coaches, our environment, and our competitors.

Inclusion

Team Stoke is a space for every child—regardless of background, ability, or learning style. We work actively to remove barriers and build a team that reflects our whole community.

Adaptability

We’re not here to do it “like it’s always been done.” We innovate, pivot, and listen to serve our athletes better.

Communication

Clear, open, and honest. We stay connected with parents, athletes, and each other—because great teams grow from great conversations.

Collaboration

We believe in shared effort—compensating coaches fairly, welcoming parents into the process, and giving athletes a voice. Teamwork drives everything we do.

Meet Aleah – Founder & Head Coach

Hi, I’m Aleah and Team Stoke is the team I always dreamed of. I’m originally from New Mexico and got my start teaching at Angel Fire Resort’s Ski and Snowboard School, where I discovered my calling. That experience didn’t just teach me how to teach skiing, it changed my life.

I’ve been teaching skiing since I was 17 and have worked hard to grow my craft, earning certifications through the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) including Alpine Level 2, Children’s Specialist 2, Cognitive & Developmental/Visually Impaired Level 1, and the big one, Freestyle 3! Making me the first woman in the U.S. to achieve it.

For nine amazing years, I taught at Copper Mountain’s Ski and Ride School, building deep relationships with families and honing my craft on the mountain I came to love. During summers, I stayed stoked coaching summer skiing at Woodward Copper for nine seasons — keeping my passion and grit burning year-round.

After years of coaching and training, I realized what I truly wanted was to give back to our Colorado community. To create something lasting for the athletes who are serious about their goals but need real, local support.

I now live in Fort Collins with my husband David — my biggest supporter — and our sweet crew of three. Team Stoke is our shared dream, built from the heart a life that keeps us moving, connected, and helping kids thrive on and off the snow.

We believe life’s better when you’re chasing what fires you up and sharing that energy with others. Every athlete deserves a coach who stands by them for the long run. We’re here for those who want more, to inspire others with kindness, consistency, and stoke.

Our Coaching Philosophy

At Team Stoke, we’re more than just coaches.
We’re mentors, motivators, and role models—here to fuel progress, build confidence, and spread the stoke.

We believe sports should be fun, supportive, and empowering, and we show up every session with big energy and even bigger care. We coach with heart, adapt to each athlete’s needs, and create an environment where every kid feels safe, seen, and supported.

Whether your athlete is landing a first 360 or cheering on a teammate, our goal is the same: to make every session meaningful—consistent, intentional, and stoked, always.
